Since the release of Michael Jackson’s posthumous album Michael, one question persisted: is it really him?

Many have speculated that MJ soundalike Jason Malachi actually performed vocal duties on at least some parts of the record, presented as a compilation of unreleased Jackson tracks. And as it turns out, one of Michael’s own children reportedly has her doubts.

According to TMZ, Jackson’s daughter Paris expressed her misgivings during a recorded video chat she had with her friends in 2010.

“It’s not him … the whole album isn’t even him!” TMZ says Paris Jackson said when asked why the main voice on “Hold My Hand” didn’t sound exactly like the King of Pop. “Go online … go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That’s him [on the song]!”

The site alleges as well that Paris insisted on tape, “I should know if it’s him or not because he would sing to me all the time.”

TMZ claims that the video chat in question “is being shopped to various media outlets,” and that offers are on the table. Until the video itself surfaces, we’ll have to examine this longstanding claim by comparing “Hold My Hand” to one of Malachi’s more well-known songs:

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris claims legendary singer’s last album used impostor’s voice

Daddy’s little girl knows best.

There are a great number of conspiracy theories floating around Michael Jackson‘s death, but it turns out Jackson’s only daughter, Paris Jackson, has one of her own.

According to TMZ, a recorded video chat reveals Paris doesn’t believe the voice on her late father’s last album, “Michael,” was even his own.

During the 2010 video chat, Paris supposedly announced to her friends that the reason the voice on the album doesn’t sound like her dad is because it’s not the King of Pop at all — it’s a sound-alike named Jason Malachi.

“It’s NOT him … the whole album isn’t even him!! Go online … go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That’s him!!” the 13-year-old allegedly replied when a friend asked why the “Hold My Hand” singer sounded different.

Paris even at one point jokes about the footage “leaking” onto the Internet.

The online conversation took place during the height of rumors that Jackson’s parts on the “Michael” album were actually sung by Malachi, though both Sony and the singer denied the allegations, according to TMZ.

On the tape, the site reports, Paris also insisted she knew what she was talking about.

“I should know if it’s him or not because he would sing to me all the time,” she reportedly said on the video.

At present, the video chat footage is being shopped to various media outlets, according to TMZ, and there are already offers being made for the precious recordings.

Paris is currently set to star in the upcoming live action-animated film “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” based on Dennis H. Christen‘s young adult fantasy series, opposite characters voiced by Joey Fatone and Larry King.

Michael Jackson dance pierce from ‘Billie Jean’ gets child in trouble

Michael Jackson's dance moves

A 9-year-old student in Minnesota has been suspended from school for imitating one of the signature dance moves of the late Michael Jackson: the crotch grab. Naturally, footage of the incident has gone viral on YouTube.

The suspension, reported by the Winona Daily News, occurred after a lip-sync performance of Jackson’s “Billie Jean” at a fundraiser for a Catholic school. Lenny Boberg, a student at St. Stanislaus school,  grabbed his groin more than once in imitation of Jackson during the performance.

After the fundraiser, the school principal reportedly approached Boberg and told him that his moves were inappropriate and that he was being suspended.

Boberg’s mother told the newspaper her son had performed similar Jackson routines in the last two years without incident and that a parent-teacher organization had approved all performances during a recent rehearsal.

Since the incident, which took place Thursday, video of the offending dance moves has been posted on YouTube. (You can see two of the moves in the video below at the 1:15 and 2:15 marks.) Those who are offended by crotch grabs are advised to avert their eyes.

Michael Jackson Tour Footage To Sell For Millions

A Michael Jackson documentary, filmed during his 1992/1993 ‘Dangerous World Tour’ is set to make more than £4 million when it goes up for sale next month.

A previously unseen Michael Jackson documentary could make more than £4 million when it goes up for auction later this month.

The backstage footage from the King of Pop’s 1992/1993 ‘Dangerous World Tour’ was recorded by a documentary crew but Michael was reportedly so unhappy with the end product he fired the filmmakers and gave the only existing copy to an unnamed driver, who has now put it up for sale.

The chauffeur – who claims Michael gave him the film as a “reward or a bonus” for his “transportation services” – kept the tape a secret until the star’s death from an overdose of Propofol in June 2009 when he posted a brief clip on YouTube.

Although Michael’s record label and lawyers tried to claim exclusive rights to the documentary, a judge ruled in favour of the driver saying it was a gift although it was ruled that he could not make copies.

The two-hour documentary is set to be of huge interest because it features behind-the-scenes images and contains footage of Jordy Chandler, who accused Michael of child abuse before he and his parents settled out of court.

Ted Owen – CEO of Fame Bureau auctioneers, who will be responsible for selling the footage – said: “I’m very excited that this tape is finally going to be seen because of its quality, the amount of cameras used and the sheer closeness you are to the performance when watching it.”

Meanwhile, the estate of the late singer has given Queen permission to release previously unheard tracks recorded by Michael and the late Freddie Mercury in the early 80s when the rockers were touring the US.

Guitarist Brian May said: “The Michael Jackson estate are happy for us to go ahead with the music. But it’s not something that we can rush.

“I work on things with the view ‘to let’s see how it goes’. When it is something we feel is worthwhile then it’s nice if we could get it out there.”
