Unless something unfortunate happens in the next three days, don’t expect any surprises at Lindsay Lohan‘s next progress report hearing.
The starlet is due in a Los Angeles court next Tuesday and E! News has learned her lawyer, Shawn Holley, plans to tell Judge Stephanie Sautner that Lohan is on her way to completing her court-ordered 12 days of community service at the morgue and four 45-minute psychological therapy sessions for the month.
“We are on track and looking good on all fronts,” said the 25-year-old starlet’s rep, Steve Honing.

During the proceeding, Lohan will have to provide Judge Sautner with proof that she has fulfilled those requirements—no small feat given her prior slipups that have landed her in handcuffs.
Let’s hope she starts the year off on a positive note the way she ended it.
E! Online will be livestreaming all the action when Lohan arrives in court at 10 a.m., so tune in!

The role would be a big break for Lohan, whose personal troubles over the past few years have hindered what was shaping up to be a promising career in film. Many have expressed best wishes for the troubled actress, including Tina Fey, who wrote the script for the 2004 film “Mean Girls,” in which Lohan starred.
But it seems as if Lohan has been doing relatively well, of late.
She posed for Playboy magazine’s January/February 2012 issue — one of the magazine’s most successful ever. Per Hugh Hefner, who described the photo shoot as “classy,” the issue sold a record number of copies.
Lohan was also praised by Judge Stephanie Saunter at a December hearing for completing court-ordered duties early.
Still, the judge required that Lohan continue to check in on a regular basis.
“I think she likes to come here and see me,” Judge Stephanie Saunter said, according to an ABC News report. “I think that’s motivation for her.”

Lindsay Lohan will head back to court Wednesday for her first progress hearing since Judge Stephanie Saunter imposed new probation terms on the actress and sent her to jail for a few hours. Believe it or not, this may be the beginning of the end of Lilo’s legal troubles.
Lohan’s rep told the Associated Press that the actress has met the new probation terms, and Deputy Chief Coroner Ed Winter — who was not too happy with Lohan after she was late for her first day of morgue duty — said she’s now “doing fine.”
But this being Lindsay Lohan, not everything is going according to plan.
The actress missed a scheduled taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday after missing a flight from Hawaii, E! reports. Lohan’s purse was stolen, then later returned $10,000 lighter, during her vacation.
Lohan was supposed to discuss her leaked Playboy pictorial on the show as part of her contract with the men’s magazine, according to Gossip Cop. (Paris Jackson filled in for her.) Lohan will not appear on the show, but she will make the hearing.
“Lindsay had a travel-related issue arise that took a few hours to sort out,” her rep told E!. “It has been resolved, and she will be back in Los Angeles in time for her court appearance.”
Lindsay Lohan a Model Morgue Worker So Far!
Flynet
Lindsay Lohan appears to be doing her best to make next week entirely uneventful.
Earlier today, the actress dropped off signed proof at the Santa Monica courthouse’s probation office that she has completed 12 hours of community service at the L.A. County morgue, a source exclusively tells E! News.
But wait, doesn’t she have to do, like, 120 hours?

Eventually, yes, but Judge Stephanie Sautner had ordered Lohan to do at least 12 hours and attend four 45-minute psychotherapy sessions by her Dec. 14 progress hearing—or else spend more than a few hours in jail.
Presumably, Lohan isn’t itching to feel the cold clasp of steel around her wrists again, so she did what she had to do.
There was that initial hiccup, when she tried to feed her fellow workers, and coroner’s officials rejected her offers of burgers and cupcakes. But that was then.
Lohan has been “diligently fulfilling her community service,” her rep Steve Honig tells us.
We’ll see next Wednesday if the jail-threatening judge is impressed. Or at least pacified.
Lindsay Lohan praised for morgue duty
Lindsay Lohan has been hailed as ‘polite and hard-working’ by law-enforcement officials.
The troubled actress is ahead of schedule with her court-ordered community service, having already completed 10 out of 12 morgue duty shifts at the Los Angeles County Morgue with three weeks to go until she appears in court for a status hearing on December 14.
According to gossip website TMZ, Lindsay wants to finish the required hours and then get a head start on the duties she needs to complete before her second status hearing.
Law enforcement officers told the site that the actress has earned a ‘good reputation’ at the morgue as she is ‘polite, hard-working and never complains’.
Lindsay is working at the morgue as part of her sentence for breaching the terms of probation which was set following a 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge.
After she was recently found in violation of probation, she was sentenced to 300 days jail but was only told to spend 30 days behind bars.
Judge Stephanie Saunter warned the ‘Machete’ star – who went on to serve just four-and-a-half hours of her prison term – that if she fails to complete her community service or court-ordered psycho-therapy sentence, she will return to jail for the remaining 270 days.
However, if she successfully completes everything the court requires of her, the sentence will be stayed indefinitely.
