Adriana Lima Responds To Gisele’s Breastfeeding Beliefs
Victoria’s Secret supermodel and new mom Adriana Lima offered her take on Gisele’s controversial breastfeeding comments with The Huffington Post while promoting the $2 million diamond-encrusted Fantasy bra on Wednesday. Back in August, Gisele told Harper’s Bazaar UK “Some people here [in the US] think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?…I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.” She added, “I think breastfeeding really helped [me keep me figure].” HuffPost’s Samira Nanda caught up with Lima at the Victoria’s Secret flagship store in Soho, where she revealed “I did breastfeed, but for me it did not make me lose weight.
