Justin Bieber certainly knows how to build suspense when it comes to his new music video.
The 18-year-old singer has released yet another ‘teaser trailer’ to the upcoming promo for his new single Boyfriend.
And in the 14-second clip, it looks like the Canadian star is channelling the late Michael Jackson.
Jackson inspired? Justin Bieber appears as a silhouette in the third teaser trailer to his new video Boyfriend
Bieber is barely seen in the short sequences, however a silhouette of the singer clicking his fingers and dancing against the backdrop of the moon looking distinctly Jackson-esque.
The song itself has already been compared to Justin Timberlake, who in turn was compared to Jackson when he first released his solo material in 2002.
The third teaser trailer also features Bieber whispering into the ear of a Selena Gomez lookalike.

Fleeting: The 18-year-old singer barely appears in the short clip
But the there’s no words audible, just the opening beats to the song, which is already getting quite a lot of airplay on radio stations.
Ahead of the posting on his YouTube channel, Bieber wrote on Twitter: ‘I’m gonna post this new # BOYFRIENDteaser – thanks to everyone supporting
the song around the world. I owe you the
new trailer!’
Talking about the video, Bieber told MTV News: ‘I think people are going to be really happy and … I think it’s going to make people like the song more.’
Excited: Bieber, pictured in Los Angeles yesterday, has been tweeting a lot in the build-up to the video release
Boyfriend is the first single from Bieber’s third studio album Believe.
The disc is said to be quite a departure from his first two albums My World 2.0 and Under The Mistletoe.
Boyfriend is already No.3 in the U.S. iTunes charts and No.2 in the UK iTunes charts.

Does anyone else remember the days when the first time you would hear a song would be when you saw the music video? Now you hear a song and have to wait weeks for the video, it seems so stupid. Heck, and releasing a video AFTER the song has been released too! Talk about dragging it out.

Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson? In the same sentence?! Dream on. Michael Jackson was the King. Bieber is some little, popcorn creation of a “music” industry that now has no concept of what real music and performance is.
Bieber – continue dreaming. No chance will you ever take the crown of the King.

I didn’t know standing in a silhouette was ‘channeling’ MJ,I didn’t realize he had copyrighted it or that it had never been done before he did it. LOL

Agreed! And when is this stupid, juvenile habit of wearing a baseball hat back-to-front ever going to end? My children did it because they thought it was funny, but they all grew out of it before they were six years old.

He wares the hat backwards because he is sending a signal that he is a “Catcher”
and not a” Pitcher”. With a new song like Boyfriend showing his fans that he is the Catcher in his body language. His bicep is as big as my wrist. His hands are so small he can slip-out of any police hand-cuffs.

I realise that Justin really loves Michael… The admiration is sweet actually, But I think he should move a way from that image, If Justin really wants to make a mark in the music industry he shouldn’t be going down the road of imitating. He should be creating and innovating his own style. Be an originator!

No-one will ever beat MJ, if you you have a heart, and rhyme for music you will understand that MJ had HUGE talent and it cant be compaired to JB. No no no, but well done to the young man good for him, lets see more of his moves though. Put him next to Jaden Smith and lets see who can dance looooool

Not a fan of JB’s music, but ‘Boyfriend’ isn’t actually that bad. Seems like a fairly decent guy too.
