Lindsay Lohan heads to trial conference after blank flight, ‘Ellen’ taping

Lindsay Lohan will head back to court Wednesday for her first progress hearing since Judge Stephanie Saunter imposed new probation terms on the actress and sent her to jail for a few hours. Believe it or not, this may be the beginning of the end of Lilo’s legal troubles.

Lohan’s rep told the Associated Press that the actress has met the new probation terms, and Deputy Chief Coroner Ed Winter — who was not too happy with Lohan after she was late for her first day of morgue duty — said she’s now “doing fine.”

But this being Lindsay Lohan, not everything is going according to plan.

The actress missed a scheduled taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday after missing a flight from Hawaii, E! reports. Lohan’s purse was stolen, then later returned $10,000 lighter, during her vacation.

Lohan was supposed to discuss her leaked Playboy pictorial on the show as part of her contract with the men’s magazine, according to Gossip Cop. (Paris Jackson filled in for her.) Lohan will not appear on the show, but she will make the hearing.

“Lindsay had a travel-related issue arise that took a few hours to sort out,” her rep told E!. “It has been resolved, and she will be back in Los Angeles in time for her court appearance.”

On Tonight: Selleck Returns
The latest of the cop shows premiering this week, “Blue Bloods” (CBS, 10 p.m.) has a solid cast in Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Bobby Canavale and Donnie Wahlberg. It’s also got some writers who spent some time at “The Sopranos.” But the pilot seems undercut by the unlikely premise that every top case in New York City involves every aspect of this one family – a commissioner, detective, street …
