Lindsay Lohan's 'Glee' Cameo: Co-Star Perez Hilton Weighs In!
Celebrity-gossip blogger Perez Hilton guest stars on this week’s big “Nationals” episode of “Glee,” but was uncharacteristically reluctant to address the rumors of fellow guest star Lindsay Lohan’s alleged on-set misbehavior when MTV News caught up with him at Wango Tango in Los Angeles this weekend.
“I’m on ‘Nationals,’ a very important episode, and Lindsay Lohan is also on this episode,” Hilton told MTV News. “And it’s a nail-biter. Everybody has to watch.”
When the conversation turned to allegations that Lohan was hours late to set and was difficult once she finally arrived, Hilton chose his words very carefully, turning the conversation back to himself — and in so doing, seemed to imply that Lohan was not at her professional best.
Asked about talk of Lohan’s misbehavior, Hilton said, “I showed up to set early and prepared and was very happy to be there and professional, excited and appreciative for the opportunity.”
Rumors of on-set trouble erupted April 25, when actress Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste on the Fox hit, tweeted about an unnamed person’s late arrival to set, causing delays in filming. “Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things,” Jones reportedly tweeted. “Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!” Jones’ tweet has since been deleted.
Regarding Lohan’s alleged tardiness, the actress’ rep, Steve Honig, told E! News that there was a mixup with her call time, and said any claims of problems on the “Glee” set are “utter B.S.”
“This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today,” he continued.
Like Hilton, Lohan appears as herself on the episode. The pair play judges at the national singing competition the show’s choir, New Directions, participates in.

Another day, another drama as the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continue shooting the third season of the Bravo hit.
Oh Lisa, Lisa, Lisa…have you learned nothing from Jill Zarin and Teresa Giudice? Getting too big for your Chanel baubles leads to nothing but co-star–and fan!–backlash. RadarOnline is reporting that Lisa Vanderpump has gotten a tad cocky in light of her recent spin-off. A source tells the site, “There are a lot of bad feelings because Lisa got her own show and Taylor [Armstrong] for one thinks that Lisa has been acting like a diva during filming. Taylor and Lisa had gotten close after Russell’s suicide last year, but Taylor now feels like that was all done for the cameras.”
“The Housewives are jealous that Lisa got so much attention at the recent up fronts in New York City,” the insider goes on to say. However, “Lisa does have one very vocal supporter among the cast though, Brandi Glanville. Brandi thinks it’s fantastic that Lisa got her own show and of course, she wants to appear on that show as well.” No shocker there!

The source claims that Lisa wasn’t keen on returning for a third run with the lavish ladies who lunch, citing, “Lisa is acting like she deserves to have her own show and that the other ladies should be grateful that she agreed to appear on this current season of Housewives. The only reason Lisa agreed to come back for the third season was because she was getting her own show on Bravo and it was part of the contract deal she signed. Lisa is a very smart businesswoman and she dismisses the other ladies feelings because she believes they are jealous. Lisa didn’t get to where she is in life without ruffling feathers.”
A second source (they’re just coming out of the woodwork, aren’t they?) alleges that Lisa is hoping to divide and conquer as she pits her former frienemies against each other. The insider asserts, “Lisa is always trying to make the women take her side in any situation and divide them up and make them fight against each other. She’s been so nasty that the other women are furious that she seems to think that she’s the biggest star in the show.”
Yet another source is waiting on the drama to start between Lisa and the newbie housewife, stating,“There is definitely going to be tension between Yolanda Hadid, David Foster’s wife, and Lisa over some past legal wrangles that have gone on.” I wonder if this means we will being seeing less of Mo and his mermaid parties this year?
Speaking of my favorite reveler, as you know, Yolanda was married to Mohamed Hadid for eight years, and the couple have three children together. After divorcing in 2003, Yolanda got quite the divorce settlement. RadarOnline has learned that Yolanda “retained ownership of the Santa Barbara mansion, a $6 million dollar Malibu property, an Arabian horse, sole ownership of Hadid Interiors, several bank accounts , a Range Rover and an Escalade.”
In addition to paying for private school and a full time nanny, Mohamed pays Yolanda $30,000 a month in child support. She also received a one-time lump sum payment in the amount of $3.6 million and was getting $10,000 a month is spousal support until marrying acclaimed musical producer David Foster. Mohamed did get to keep the couple’s primary residence which is featured on the show, as well as the Mexican vacation home, but Yolanda is free to use the getaway whenever she pleases. The pair share joint custody of their children, and Mohamed maintains a million dollar life insurance policy which names Yolanda and the kids as the beneficiaries. That sounds like a pretty amicable split to me! It’s worth noting that the couple had a pre-nup, but it was declared null and void once the settlement agreement was executed. Kind of makes you wonder about it’s terms, doesn’t it?
Yolanda is stepping in to fill the shoes of Camille Grammer, who left the show to avoid her kids being filmed. However, that doesn’t rule out the possibility of a comeback, as Camille has already been seen filming little tidbits here and there a la Orange County’s Jeana Keough. A Bravo source tells RadarOnline, “Producers of the show have tremendous respect for Camille and there was always the possibility that she would appear on the current season which recently began filming. Camille has great chemistry with the fellow Housewives and viewers were very vocal about their displeasure when it was announced that she wasn’t going to be returning.”
“Camille went to Portia’s birthday party at Kyle [Richards]‘s house on Saturday. Kim Richards, Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong were all there and very happy to see Camille,” a party guest relays to the site. “The ladies seem to have great chemistry and hadn’t seen in other in a while. It was a lovely afternoon and the birthday girl was lovingly doted on by her parents. Kyle has made it clear to producers of the show that she wants Camille back on for good, and she usually gets what she wants!”
I personally was sad to see Camille exit stage left, so I am excited to get to see her at least a little bit on the upcoming season.

Lindsay Lohan a casting risk
28 Apr – After the public’s initial shock over the casting of rehabilitated actress Lindsay Lohan as Dame Elizabeth Rosemond “Liz” Taylor has subsided, it seems that the producer behind the new biopic of the Queen of Hollywood is experiencing a shock of his own, having admitted that his decision to cast Lohan is a big risk, according to Entertainment Wise.
The movie, titled “Liz And Dick”, is a made for television feature, and will be aired on the Lifetime channel. Lohan was confirmed for the role recently, on 23 April, but producer Larry Thompson now revealed that they have a Plan B, and that he is prepared for the possible problems Lohan could cause.
According to Thompson, “Lindsay Lohan may be the most insured actress that ever walked on a soundstage for this movie. We’ve tried to anticipate a lot of things – we hope none of them happen.”
For example, the production will be filmed in Los Angeles rather than Canada to minimise the risks.
However the producer stood by his casting decision, contending that, the troubled actress would be perfect for the role as “We think she understands the role, we think she lives it. I know when she talks to me about it, she goes, ‘Oh my gosh, I understand exactly what was going on. I know what she was thinking’. I think that’s an added value that she as an actress brings to our project that we might not otherwise get.”
Thompson felt so strongly about the 26-year-old actress that she was not asked to audition or screen test for the role.
He said, “I’ve had the conversation with my wife, who worries about it, and I worry about it. But you know, as a producer we take risks and if you want to make magic, that’s the world Lindsay Lohan lives in, that’s the world Elizabeth Taylor lives in.”
“Liz And Dick” is a biopic about the British-American actress Elizabeth Taylor and her well-known relationship with her “Cleopatra” co-star Richard Burton, even appearing together in 11 films. Taylor’s other notable roles include “Giant” (1956), “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” (1958) and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” (1966).

After nearly 30 years of royalty struggles, Ola Ray, the woman who famously appeared alongside Michael Jackson in the immensely popular “Thriller” music video, finally heads to a jury trial with the Jackson estate on April 30, 2012 alleging breach of contract (Case No. SC102953). Since co-starring alongside Michael Jackson in “Thriller,” which many would call the most revered music video of all time, the former Playboy Playmate has fought an uphill battle to collect royalties that she claims have not been paid over the past decades. After finally going the distance with her entertainment lawyer, Ray’s long ordeal is coming to a close.
Ray, 51, was just 23-years-old when she appeared alongside Jackson in “Thriller” and frightened children worldwide with her piercing scream. Since its release in 1983, the video has enjoyed countless airings and financial success that has far exceeded any video in music history. Its signature “zombie dance” has been emulated worldwide and the “Thiller jacket” that Jackson wore in the video is one of the most popular articles of clothing ever worn. The short film has even garnered federal recognition, having recently been inducted for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.
According to court documents, Ray’s original employment contract for “Thriller” allegedly entitles her to a specified percentage of the revenue derived from the video and related merchandise; however, even though the short film has reportedly made millions, Ray asserts the Jackson estate has not paid her regular royalties since the 1980s.
Despite her ongoing litigation battles with the Jackson estate, Ray claims she has never held any ill feelings towards the late pop star personally.
“I have always loved Michael Jackson and thank him for the opportunity of a lifetime to be part of such an iconic piece of music history,” states Ray. “Michael would always re-release ‘Thriller’ in different packages so that I would get my royalties. He really did his personal best to help me while he was alive. Unfortunately, the people handling his estate have not been acting according to his wishes since his death.”
Ray was a huge fan of Jackson even before landing the role in “Thriller.” As the June 1980 Playboy Playmate, her centerfold listed the King of Pop as one of her favorite entertainers. Understandably, Ray was on cloud nine when she beat hundreds for the opportunity to star alongside her idol. She claims to have nothing but fond memories and admiration for MJ.
“Michael was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met,” recalls Ray. “We would run around the set and play like kids. When he passed away, I was devastated. I had lost a friend.”
In the digital age, primarily since Jackson’s passing in 2009, the pop star’s estate has allegedly profited greatly from the exploitation of “Thriller.” For example, the video has been one of the best-selling music videos in iTunes history. Ray continues to be adamant that she has not received a cent from any revenue related to “Thriller” since 1999.
Trejo Law Corporation, a Beverly Hills law firm specializing in entertainment law, recently revealed its representation of Ola Ray and the interesting details of her case. “Ms. Ray simply wants Jackson’s estate to honor the terms of her employment agreement so that she may move on with her life,” asserts Jose A. Trejo, the entertainment attorney representing Ray in the current matter. “The estate cannot continue to exploit ‘Thriller’ and neglect to pay Ms. Ray the royalties to which she is contractually entitled.”
After decades of legal struggles with Jackson and his estate, Ray seems optimistic that the ordeal is nearing an end.
“I am very thankful that Michael cast me as his girlfriend in ‘Thriller’ and I cherish the memories. I just want what’s owed to me,” insists Ray. “I am looking forward to having my day in court and putting this matter behind me very soon.”

Marlo Hampton Opens Up About Fight With Sheree & Where Her Money Comes From; Plus Sheree Insists She Did Not Throw Kandi Under The Bus!
Marlo Hampton wants you to know there is more to her than designer labels! Atlanta’s most contested and derided housewife is speaking out about who she really is and defending herself to the critics.
To start out, Marlo also says she never cared that her then-boyfriend Charles Grant allegedly dated co-star (and now friend) NeNe Leakes and she came on the show with an open-mind. “The girls wanted it to be something major,” she insists. But she does care about how she is portrayed on the Real Housewives of Atlanta!
She is also happy she was able to participate in the trip to South Africa, despite the unsavory taste it left in most viewer’s mouths. Marlo calls the trip to Africa “a life experience,” save for the argument she had with Sheree Whitfield. “I hate that that happened,” she muses to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I would not have cared about her inviting me to the party, because I know that Sheree doesn’t really care for me too much, whatever. But, after we sat on the boat and we’re all like “Hey, we’re going to bond, at least when we see each other we’re going to speak, we’re going to be cordial,” I’m like, OK, we’re starting off on a new foot, we’re connecting,” Marlo explains.
“So as soon as we get back to the room, you call Cynthia [Bailey] over and invite Cynthia and not me, really? Sheree, seriously? Where we just left 30 minutes ago saying “Oh, we’re going to try to get along,” so that really just shocked me. And then we started the argument, I guess the part that blew me was when she was like, “Oh don’t go there, you’re dating an 80-year-old white man.” I just lost it.”
She does regret using the word “faggot” during the course of her rage. “I feel absolutely awful,” she admits. “When I said the ‘f-word,’ this wasn’t on camera, but I was crying, I was so pissed off and frustrated.”
Marlo says her sister is gay, along with her assistant and she is deeply involved in the community. “I called home to Daniel, my assistant who’s gay. I just told him about the whole thing about Sheree, I mean, I just felt awful, I mean, I was upset like that whole night.”
And she wants you to know using the word isn’t as bad as one might think! “But the only thing about it, when I talked to Lawrence [Washington] about it, he told me a ‘faggot’ was a gay messy male. And I did know that guy was being messy, but he’s like ‘Marlo, you cannot say that, though, you’re not gay. It’s like a man calling you the B-word.’”
“I did apologize, my friends love me and they know I was just talking, and I’m just trying to build that relationship back with the gay community, because, I mean that was awful, I really feel bad about that.”
As for how she earns the money to pay for all that Lu-wee VooTAWN, Marlo insists she used to work and she’s really good at investing! “ I mean, from work, and I did own and found the Red Carpet Boutique at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta for three years, which I just closed when I started taping with Bravo.”
“Of course, I have been spoiled by my boyfriends,” she adds. “The main part is that I invested my money.”
“I wasn’t crazy, I didn’t have to spend on everything. My home is paid for, my vehicles are paid for… I came from nothing to where I never want to go back to being a foster child, being homeless, or being in the projects, and just struggling, and not knowing where my next meal was going to come from. I don’t want to go back to that.”
Marlo admits she was “puzzled” by Kandi Burruss asking her about the source of her income. She believs Kandi is so concerned about her cash flow because she’s jealous! “It’s jealousy and envy, that’s what it was. I mean, it’s got to be jealousy and envy, something, Lord — women with low self-esteem only,” she insists.
“The gay men love me, men love me, and strong-minded women love me, who have high self-esteem. Only the low self-esteem women have a problem with me, and it’s like, “Why? What is your problem?” Just because I love fashion, my story is different from yours, my occupation is different from yours, what is the problem?”
And speaking of boyfriends who take care of you, Marlo insists she actually likes Kim Zolciak and wasn’t trying to “jab” her with all the Big Poppa talk during Cynthia’s modeling school opening. “When I originally met Kim, she was so nice and sweet and talking to me, but I wasn’t trying to pull a jab. It came off like one though, but I really wasn’t.”
“I said I had a Big Poppa,” Marlo clarifies. “I feel like, it wasn’t even about you Kim. And she has a past herself, and her comments about me have been inappropriate, but it is what it is. But it wasn’t targeted towards her. But her comments about me are inappropriate, that’s what’s crazy.”
Finally Sheree is speaking out about why she decided to tell Kim about Kandi and Cynthia’s comments in Africa! And she is defending her decision to spill the beans, claiming it was all about loyalty! “I believe in friendship, I believe in loyalty. If you say something, you need to own it.”
Sheree admits that she initially misspoke about who made the comment. “I stand corrected: Cynthia did make the initial comment about Kim, but Kandi immediately agreed with her.”
“Only that wasn’t shown. No one watching at home realized that Kandi had agreed with Cynthia. Hopefully, they’ll air the entire conversation during the reunion.”
As for Kandi’s accusations that Sheree threw her under the bus, Sheree dismisses that as ridiculous. ” I told Kim about the incident while Kandi was standing right there next to me — so I wasn’t throwing anyone under the bus. I just strongly believe that if you say something behind someone’s back, you should be able to say it to their face.”
Sheree tells Wetpaint she was more angry that Kandi agreed with Cynthia’s comment – particularly since Cynthia isn’t close with any of the ladies involved. “Cynthia and Kim aren’t close. There’s no loyalty there — they’re not friends,” Sheree reveals. “But Kandi is supposed to be Kim’s friend — and I thought it was strange that she was agreeing with Cynthia on a sentiment that was basically insulting Kim and implying she could possibly be racist.”
The decision to call Kim was made by the producers according to Sheree, but she decided to tell Kim what was discussed in the jeep. “After the jeep ride, the producers asked us to call Kim, so we did,” she claims she didn’t mention Cynthia’s involvement in the conversation because she and Kim “aren’t close,” but Kandi and Kim are “close friends.” After Tardy For The Party? I beg to differ!
“Kim was thankful that I mentioned it,” Sheree explains. “She knows I’m not messy person. Most real friends would appreciate that.” As for her relationship with Kandi, the two are good now, but things were tense for a while.
